Founded in Ashok Nagar, Chennai

Mr. L. Thirumal, fresh from three decades of government service, launched Shubham Car Rentals with 4 vehicles and a handwritten rate card. The founding promise was simple: never be late, never overcharge, and always send a clean car. That promise has never been broken.

2018

First Corporate Accounts & GST Rollout

India's GST regime launched, and Shubham was among the first small car-rental firms in Chennai to become fully GST-compliant with monthly consolidated billing. This decision opened doors to three major IT parks and our first 50-vehicle contract with a multinational consultancy.

Operations Manager Joins — Logistics MBA Leads Growth

Mr. Ashokkumar Thirumal, armed with an MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and 15 years of industry experience, joined as Operations Manager. He rebuilt dispatch processes from scratch, introduced GPS tracking, and launched the 24×7 support desk — transforming Shubham from local operator to professional fleet company.

Corporate offsites, weddings, pilgrimages, and school trips demanded more than sedans. Shubham introduced Force Tempo Travellers (12–17 seats) and the luxurious Force Urbania van — transforming group travel in South India with chauffeur-driven comfort previously reserved for charter buses.

North India Network Launch

Partner agreements with verified operators in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur brought Shubham's service quality to North India for the first time.
